The Pad Presents are using their mates gaff Esquires again to bring you one of the most exciting modern music artists to blow up this year. Ghostpoet is an amazingly talented lo fi MC, Singer and Producer coming straight out of London, and his debut album ‘Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam’ has just been short-listed for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, and for good reason. The album is a twisted and beautifully arranged tale of modern life and its troubles, that were so well documented on lead single ‘Cash & Carry me home’.

Many are seeing the album as a real contender for the coveted prize, with the BBC comparing its impact to when The Streets first burst onto the scene with Original Pirate Material.

With his music ranging from lo fi pop, to electronica, mixed with the more subtle side of dubstep and rock, his debut is as uplifting as it is at times melancholy, yet always keeps the listeners head nodding. This year he’s been supporting Metronomy and Jamie Woon but comes to us on his first headline tour. Support on the night is to be confirmed, but as with all Pad Presents shows the supports will be top notch and fitting.

Tickets are £8 advance and are now on sale on, Dannys Bar and Luscious Juice bar.
