If for any reason you missed the twitter hype between Grime Daily and what is becoming a lot of UK grime MC’s and rappers, we have taken the time to break it down. Midway through January, Grime Daily hosted a panel of industry figures that included presenter Claira Hermet, Princess Nyah, Shimmer, Baby Blue, Chams from Face4Music, video vixen Chanelle Roundi, No Lay, Louisa London and Kele Le Roc who were set the task of creating a top 10 list of sexiest UK Grime artists.
Inspired by Lethal Bizzle’s POW 2011 video which features JME, Face, P Money, Gheets, Kano and a video shy Wiley in a five minute episode of The Bill, we look at the best criminal crews to ever hit your screens. This is our opinion but if you think you have a better list, post it below.
5. Reservoir Dogs From Mr Yellow all the way to Mr Purple, these were some crazy guys you wouldn’t want to see walking in your neighbourhood.
4. The A-Team
While technically not criminals, The A Team were convicted of crimes they didn’t commit… “it wasn’t me officer”. If you are an 80′s baby like me, you will not be happy with the new look crew but either way, these guys knew how to handle themselves and AK-47′s too.
3. The Usual Suspects Unfortunate pawns in Keyser Soze’s plan, Keaton’s posse were hardcore to the very end. I’ll be the first one to admit that I never clocked on until I saw the bottom of Agent Kujan’s cup. I better shut up before I give away the plan, I mean plot. Just buy it!
2. Mickey’s Pikey Crew As much as we ‘fookin hate Pickeys’, this crew were ironically as thick as thieves. Watching them negotiating over the price of caravans was the highlight of the movie & Mickey’s revenge for the death of his ‘Maa’ was executed with absolute class. You like dags? Yes I do!
1. Goodfellas Crew “As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster” Well, you don’t get more gangster than this! Despite how it ended, Henry, Jimmy, Paulie and Tommy were the ultimate criminal crew. Just ask Billy Batts, Morrie, Spider, Carbone and Stacks played by a very young Samuel L. Jackson.
