It’s that time again that we all love. ThreeDayWeekend! The big bank holiday weekend is upon us and one of the biggest events, Spring Fling is taking place at Elements Bedford. The night will see Kiss Fm favorite Hotsteppa team up with BBC 1xtra’s Target to headline this bank holiday special that also has Stylo G on the bill.
As you probably know, we love our vintage Old Skool Garage so you can imagine our delight hearing the news that Saints is hosting a Garage night with the legendary duo Luck & Neat.
A near capacity Saints welcomed a host of artists & celebs last which included Grime heavyweights JME & Skepta, actor/model Lucien Lavisount, DJ/singer Dane Bowers and resident DJ’s Arron B, Greg Costa, Wrecky, Dappa and more. If you have come looking for photos, we took over 300 on the night so we will be uploading them in two batches. Batch one is already online and you can find them here. Follow us on Twitter to get updates on the second batch and regular news about events happening in the Three Counties. DON’T FORGET TO FOLLOW US ON TWITTER
BBC 1Xtra’s Robbo Ranx alongside Live Linq Sound will be returning to Elements in Bedford for a night called “The Linq Up”. For over 10 years, Robbo Ranx has been the No.1 Dancehall DJ in the UK and some, including himself would argue Europe. Headlining one of the biggest weekly dancehall radio shows in world and years on the dancehall scene means Robbo Ranx does not flop so catch him live at Elements alongside Live Linq Sound.
Skepta, Kiss FM’s Logan Sama and other guests. The truth is, club tours don’t get much bigger than this and The Large Mag is proud to be a sponsor of this tour which will be stopping at various Liquid venues across the Three Counties and South West. Starting this coming Friday 8th July, Liquid in Stevenage will be playing host to the first date of the tour with more dates at Liquid in Basingstoke, Windsor and last but not least, Luton on Saturday 23rd July.
So what can you expect for your £6? One of the best live performances from an artist that has been at the top of his game for a while. Skepta’s back catalogue of hits will last all night so expect to see live performances of tracks like ‘Rescue Me’, ‘Sunglasses At Night’, “Rolex Sweep’ and if you are really lucky, you might get a live PA of BBK’s ‘Too Many Man’.
Ticket prices start from £6 online and £8 on the door. For more info or to purchase tickets, head over to the Facebook group
