With a little bit of Luck... UK Garage returns to Saints
As you probably know, we love our vintage Old Skool Garage so you can imagine our delight hearing the news that Saints is hosting a Garage night with the legendary duo Luck & Neat.

Twice As Nice returns to Dunstable’s Cookies & Creams on Friday 2nd December to celebrate Dane Bowers Official Birthday Bash with special guests MC Luck and DJ Neat and a host of DJs bringing the best in R&B, UK Garage and Club Classics. Dane, who I have been told turns 21 on 29th November will be out celebrating with friends and also doing a special birthday set.
What do you get when two of the biggest promoters in the Three Counties get together for a soundclash? Well, we are betting on the biggest event of the year in Milton Keynes. Glamour who we awarded with the best promoter of 2009 take on Suburban Entertainments’ Sweet and Sexy at Club Opus on Saturday 16th October.
The night features the biggest names in the game clashing it out on the night. In the Sweet and Sexy corner, we have DJ D’Loose, Michael Jay, RB1, Wayne-E, JNR Windross, Jas and DJ Kindez taking on the Glamour camp which includes Greg Costa, SheJay 1E, Flex, Live-O, Aaron B & Essence and last but definitely not lass, Rhino Selecta.
While The Large Mag have to stay neutral, we can say one to watch in the clash will be SheJay 1E. Being the only female in the mix, some may foolishly think she can’t keep up with the lads but we know she can cut it at any level. Our prediction for the best and probably the hardest round to judge will be the battle of the two Jays. Michael ‘need no intro’ Jay has been smashing up venues for years. His unique speed of mixing will surely be his greatest weapon as he reels off tune after tune.
Doors open at 10pm with a early morning close of 4am. Admission is £5 before 11pm and more thereafter. This is one not to be missed as events like this in the area come few and far between.
