Movado show postponed
So it turns out that England is not Movado’s Final Destination. If you have not heard yet, Movado’s UK Tour that was due to take place at Dunstable Lesuire Centre on Thursday 8th, Aston Villa Leisure Centre on Sat 10th Dec and Sun 11th Dec at O2 Brixton Academy has been postponed due to the fact that Movado could not get a Visa to enter the UK.
This is not the first time and it will not be the last that a Jamaican artist is turned down for a visa. Why? No one really knows to be honest. Some will blame Gay Rights Groups who oppose everything to come out Jamaica apart from Grace Jones. It could be the police simply wanted a quite Christmas period. The possibilities are endless.
We have been told that the event is being rescheduled for early next year and all tickets are valid but if you got a ticket and would like a refund, you should take it back to your point of purchase.
